Hi, I"m Jasmin
YOUR PHOTOGRAPHeR + CALM PRESENCE
I’m a Santa Barbara-based photographer who specializes in intimate, intentional elopements.
What I love most about these days isn’t just how they look—it’s how they feel.
I know that being in front of a camera can feel a little intimidating, especially on a day that already carries so much emotion. That’s why I approach every elopement with a calm, grounded presence (gently guiding when needed, and stepping back when it matters most).
Most of my couples come to me saying:
“We want something that feels natural… not staged.”
That’s exactly what I create.
If this feels like what you’re looking for, I’d love to hear what you’re dreaming up.

FAQ

Is this the right fit for us?
If you value presence, thoughtful documentation, and a calm, intentional approach, this experience is designed with you in mind. The goal is not perfection, but meaning - captured with care, consistency, and purpose.
The focus is on creating an experience that feels steady, considered, and supportive. Rather than over-customization or rigid systems, your coverage is guided by structure, intention, and a deep respect for how your day unfolds.
What if we’re not comfortable in front of the camera?
You’re not alone! The good news: no experience is required! I will calmly guide you through prompts and poses when needed, as well as capture real moments while being unobtrusive. The focus is on natural connection rather than posing, so your images feel honest and unforced.
How would you describe the photography style?
My work is rooted in thoughtful, art-driven documentation. The emphasis is on atmosphere, connection, and the details that shape how your day feels. I love getting a balance of classic photos, romantic prompts, and lots of candids.
Images are edited with a refined, true-to-tone approach that prioritizes natural color, balance, and longevity. The goal is timeless imagery that holds up years from now, rather than trends that quickly fade.
We're interested! How do we book?
Yay — I’m so glad you’re here!
To get started, please fill out the inquiry form on my contact page. I’ll be in touch via email with my availability for your date, and we’ll schedule a relaxed introductory call to connect, walk through my process, and answer any questions you may have. Once you’ve chosen the collection that feels right for you, I’ll send over a contract and retainer to officially secure your date. Then the fun part begins — planning with intention and ease.
How many images will we receive?
On average I deliver 50-100 images per hour.
I want you to have all the best moments from your special day! Every image included serves a purpose and contributes to the story of your day. The result is a curated collection that feels cohesive, intentional, and true to your experience.
When will we receive our photos?
Each full gallery is delivered within a clearly defined timeframe. This allows for careful editing, ensuring your images are consistent and thoughtfully finished rather than rushed.
Weddings: 6-8 weeks (may vary during busy season).
Elopements: 4-6 weeks
Portraits: 2-3 weeks
Graduates: 2 weeks
Sneak peeks for Weddings and Elopements are delivered within 72 hours.
Can we use our photos on social media and for printing?
Yes, absolutely! You’re welcome to share your photos on social media, print them, and share them with friends and family. I just ask that images aren’t altered with filters or heavy edits, so they stay true to their original color and feel. Crediting my work when you can is always appreciated, but never required.
I retain the copyright to the images, which allows me to share select images on my website and social platforms. If you have any privacy concerns, just let me know — I’m always happy to chat about it.
Are the travel expenses included in your packages or covered additionally?
Travel within the Santa Barbara area is included in all standard packages. For locations outside of this area, travel fees are calculated based on distance, required accommodations, and overall travel time.
For weddings or sessions that require airfare, overnight stays, or rental vehicles, those expenses are covered additionally and outlined clearly in your custom proposal—no surprise fees. I always aim to keep travel costs transparent and as minimal as possible.
How do we receive our images?
Your photos will be delivered in a secure online gallery. This gallery can be private or shared with your loved ones so everyone has access to the photos!
What is required to book?
For weddings and elopements, a 30% non-refundable retainer is required to reserve your date, with the remaining balance split into two equal payments — one due midway between booking and your wedding date, and the final payment due one month before your celebration.
For couple sessions, a 50% retainer is required to secure your date, with the remaining balance due one week prior to your session. Payment plans are available upon request.
Do you offer film photography?
Yes! film is now included in all wedding packages. You’ll receive 1–2 rolls of film from your wedding day or wedding weekend, woven thoughtfully into your final gallery. Think of film as an artful addition — soft, nostalgic, and full of feeling — alongside your true-to-color, high-resolution digital images.
While film brings a beautiful texture and sense of nostalgia, the majority of your gallery will be photographed digitally for reliability and consistency. My cameras record simultaneously to two memory cards, and all files are backed up immediately onto multiple hard drives to ensure your images are safely preserved from capture through delivery.
Do you retouch photos?
Yes — when needed and when it makes sense. My approach to retouching is subtle and thoughtful, with the goal of preserving what feels real while gently refining distractions. This may include softening blemishes, minimizing temporary marks, taming flyaways, or removing people or objects in the background that don’t belong in the moment.
The intention is never to alter who you are, but to let the focus stay where it should — on you, your connection, and the feeling of the day.
